When I rescued my baby, I was looking for a russian blue mix and he was listed as such, but I am now wondering if he is a korat?

Please look at his picture and tell me if you think he looks more like a KORAT mix OR do you think he looks more like a RUSSIAN BLUE mix?

He has the blue/gray coat with the silver dusting, the center of his eyes are green and then the outer part is more yellow. Also he has a tiny white locket or mizzle of white fur on his chest. He also has that tiny little russian blue bump on his nose, but I wonder if Korats have this characteristic as well? Does anyone know?

Since I first rescued my baby, I noticed that he has TREMORS in his legs which always bothered me. The reason I suspect that he might be a Korat is because when I read about the Korats genetic disorder, it mentioned tremors as a symptom of the disease.

Are their test I can use to test for Korats genetic disorders that any of you know of? Do any of you have Korats and if so, what are their personalities like? I also wonder if any of his other issue which I mention below are symptoms of this disease? If anyone has experience with the Korats GANGLIOSIDOSIS DISEASE please keep reading and tell me if this matches the symptoms. Or if anyone else knows what these issues mean please let me know, thanks!

Once time occurrence of a large missing patch of fur on his neck, bad diarrhea, his tail has a crook in it, his legs occasionally tremor and a one time occurrence of a night of puking and foaming at the mouth which resulted in a trip to the ER.

I don't recall your ever saying what Luigi had from the foamy puking.

If you're concerned about the leg tremors, I would take Luigi to the vet and find out what that's about.

About what kind of cat he is (breed or non-breed), my guess is he's a mixed breed if you did not get him from a highly qualified breeder with papers. I believe any qualified breeder (not a BYB, either) will tell you the same thing.

I think as long as you have a loving cat, live with that love and care for Luigi with all your heart.
