This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

For litterboxes, your best bet whenever getting a new one is to put it next to your old one for a week. After they have used it a bit, then you can take the old one away. Easier transition for em that way.
You can't make a cat sleep in a certain spot, you can only provide attractive options. Mine generally prefer to sleep up high where they can let their defenses down. Their favorite spot is to jump up on the kitchen counter, up on top of the fridge, and then up on top of the cabinets so they are about 10ft off the ground, heh! I put a blanket up there for em to lay on.
To keep them from sleeping with you, you're likely going to have to close the door at night. Otherwise cats generally will try to snuggle by the feet of their favorite person.

i just removed the old litter box and placed the new one in the same place with the same litter, looks like she's using it!! :] you don't know how much that makes me happy because when i got her she wasn't potty trained but it took her about 2 days for her to get the hang of it !
yeah i read that cats like to sit up high and sleep, so they can look over everything but i dont have anything higher than a desk which is about yard stick
high from the ground.
and btw i keep her in my room, i dont have a separate room for her and i.

I've slept with cats and kittens all my life and never injured one, I don't think you have to worry about that, really. A cat will move if she's uncomfortable. Cats pretty much are automatically litter trained, it is instinct for them to dig to potty, so when you provide them with a place to dig and bury, they know it's for them.
However as your kitty grows up and becomes more settled, she will be more resistant to change, and as was already mentioned, when changing litter boxes, it's best to add a new one and keep the old one too, for a little while.

PS I have a queen size bed with several cat beds taking up about half of it. Sometimes the cats sleep in those instead of curled up next to me, but not always. If your bed isn't big enough to keep a cat bed on it, put a chair or table of the same height as your bed next to your bed and put her bed on it. She may or may not use it, but I'm sure she will appreciate the choice.

Sometimes we have four cats all sleeping on the bed with us, and believe me, they know to quickly get out of the way if we roll over or make some quick move. I am often drugged when I sleep (Migraines), and so am pretty unconscious (otherwise I'm aware of them even in my sleep, I think, and try to roll over gently) and still I have never hurt any of them. Cats reallly don't sleep too soundly, that's probably why they sleep so much...because they are only "catnapping"

Silly. I'm sure she is a very smart cat and she will have you trained to do her bidding in no time.
