It's probably just a little hernia. As long as it's not hurting her or causing her activity, eating, and litter box use to suffer, then I think she'll be fine until Monday.

If it isn't bothering her, Monday should be fine. Make sure they test her for FIV and get her dewormed.

Also, what are you feeding her? She's very tiny. Poor little thing! What a way to start out her life! There should be automatic, do not pass go, go directly to electric chair, capital punishment for people who mistreat animals

Bless you for taking her in!

Do you have pictures?

I do have pics and yes she is small she appears to at least look like a bangle mix. It causes her no pain at all she is very active and eats like a horse. She goes to the potty in the box 100% of the time. I have her on softend kitten food. But also try a bottle aswell sometimes she will take it others she wants the soft food. Yes i agree people can be very crule.

Welcome and thank God you were able to find this kitten in time and save her life. I get so very ill hearing stories like this. Sick, cruel, heartless individuals in this world

Sounds like the kitten has an umbilical hernia and if it is small it should not cause any issues at all and should not require surgery to repair. The vet can tell you for sure. Much luck at the vet and keep updating

Surely you have earned your place of honor at the Bridge.

It may just be her belly button, not completely healed.
