Friday night we come home from being out at our friends house for a few hours.
March.25.2011. We came home from being out at our friends house around 11:00pm, Vanity was laying under my printers table cleaning herself, I thought I seen something hanging out of area but I was seeing things at this time because there was nothing hanging out. Vanity was so big that her belly had dropped and she was cleaning herself none stop, Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]d noticed some discharge from her. So my hubby picked her up and put her in our room so she would have a quite place to have her babies. My hubby and I watched some t.v. for awhile then went to go to bed around 1:00am, She was meowing and was very affectionate with me, she let me pet her and rub her belly this is something that she does not let me do. She kept meowing and cleaning herself then there was this one meow that let me and my hubby know that it was time for her to start giving birth to her kittens. It was now March 26 and it was 3:15am when she started to labour the first kitten, boy oh boy was I checking her over to see if she was fine, I saw a little black sack being a small part that is hanging out of her area the size of a carrot piece, she was having contractions when she meowed once again, she laid on her side and started to lick her area with the little part of the sack hanging out, She gave one push and baby number 1 was born, at 3:33am. She cleaned her baby and herself, had a few more contractions well cleaning her baby by the fourth contraction she was pushing and baby number 2 was born, at 3:40am. She cleaned baby 2 and her self then she feed both the babies. She let me pet her and tell her that she was doing a good job and that she was a good girl, I did this for about 20 to 30 minutes, in the mean time my hubby went out to have a smoke, while I was comforting her and petting her she had a contraction and I was still petting her she pushed and out came baby number 3, born at 4:29am. She cleaned the baby, cleaned herself,cleaned the baby, cleaned herself then got up and walked over to the end of my bed laid down and started to push again this time she got up and walked over to the three babies and let out one last laud meow and laid down back towards the three kittens prop her back leg up over her head and gave her final push and baby number was born, at 4:48am. She cleaned the baby just like she had the other three. Once she was finished giving birth to her four beautiful babies she cleaned herself and meowed a sign of relief that giving birth was all over. She let my hubby and I pet her and move her closer to her babies, my hubby and I had to move the babies from the foot of our bed into the breeding box, momma cat let us do this, she even let me put a towel down beside my side of the bed for her to rest a bit before taking care of her children, she napped for 30 minutes beside me then woke up and meowed at me a few times telling me she wanted her babies to be beside her and I, so I picked them up so very carefully and placed them with her one at a time, I petted her while she was feeding her babies, I told her she did a great job at giving birth and that she is a very good momma. I continued rubbing her and fell asleep doing so the last that I looked at the clock it was 6:00am, so I donâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]t really know what time it was that I fell asleep at. I witnessed my cat giving birth to all four of her beautiful babies and let me tell you all that I would do it again. Yes Iâ€[emoji]8482[/emoji]m exhausted from all of this, you would be too, but I am happy to be exhausted the way I am, it was all worth every second, every minute and yes every hour to witness my cat giving birth to her kittens.
