Alot to catch up on....

What a rough 36 hrs!!

Thursday night my belly wasn't feeling right all evening but I went to work anyways....thinking if I could get through this one night since I was off Fri, Sat and Sun night. For those of you that don't know, I sit with a 94 yr old lady 5 nights a week. So anyways all night I was FROZE, like teeth chattering, covered in goosebumps froze...we went to bed around 10:30 and I cranked the heat in my room and snuggled into bed trying to get warm.

I awoke around 2ish sweating hot, so I stripped off the top 2 blankets and just slept with the sheet. Jean (the elderly lady I sit with) woke up around 4:30 so I got up with her. There's a chair close to the bathroom door that I sit in and wait for her to be done. So I was sitting in this chair waiting for her to finish up in the bathroom when I realzied my belly didn't hurt anymore...YAY I thought! Toilet flushed and I went over to open the door for her. As she was walking back to her room I all of a sudden got VERY VERY nauseous and everything kinda went hazy, I said "Jean, I think I'm going to be sick". I heard her say "what?" and the next thing I knew I was staring at her feet and she was saying "Brandy, Brandy, are you okay?"

CRAP....I passed out. I said yah but I'm REALLY hot, I was all of a sudden covered in sweat....she asked if I could stand up and I tried....next thing I remember is my head hurting like a SOB. I could hear panic in her voice, she was starting to freak out....again "Brandy, are you okay?" ....yah but my head hurts....that's because you hit your head on the door frame when you passed out AGAIN.

Then it hit me, I had to go to the bathroom and I had to go NOW....she didn't want me to get up but I had no choice...I sat on the toilet for over 20 mins and poor Jean kept yelling "are you ok in there?"

I got home yesterday morning, I called a friend to follow me home, she was adament that I wasn't driving at all but I didn't really have a choice...it was like 5:30 in the morning, no traffic and I just had to get home. I came home, went to bed and this is the first I've been up since (it's now Saturday morning)....still running to the bathroom, but I think my fever is gone, the massive headache I had from hitting my head is gone but my head is still sore if you touch it....

I think I'll survive but I sure have alot to catch up around here So much for having a weekend off, figures I'd be sick the whole time.

That sounds dreadful. Drink lots of gatorade or other electrolyte drinks, take it easy, and if you don't feel MUCH better by lunchtime, go get some professional help.

Poor you...poor Jean.

I've been drinking like crazy, I can't seem to get enough COLD fluids, can't rell you how many glasses of water I drank yesterday and I got Craig to go get me a chocolate milkshake for supper

I do feel bad for Jean...considering she's the one paying me to look after her I called her last night to see if her company arrived (that's why I'm off this weekend) and they had so I don't go back in until Tuesday night.

Thank you guys so much

I actually am feeling alot better and I'm not running to the bathroom so much, my boys have been great. We had a special day planned today and of course we haven't been able to do anything since I'm not up to par and they have been excellent and so understanding. So if I'm feeling up to it I will have to think of something to do for them tomorrow

I did the dishes, one load of laundry, made the boys lunch and I am now completly exhausted....so I'm going to go lay down again.

Glad you are feeling better! You really should have been checked out by a doctor. Head injuries can be serious!!!

http://www.cbn.com/cbnnews/healthsci...ury-Concerns-/

I've got pre-syncope issues. My body has adjusted and now I get an aura of sorts (usually, but not always) before pre-syncope sets in. However, when all of this started in 2004, I was fainting. The first time I fainted I hit my head and broke my foot in 3 places and dislocated 2 toes.

It wouldn't be a bad idea to go and see your doctor and let him know what happened. It could be a flu and/or dehydration, but it could also be something more serious such as blood pressure and/or heart and/or central nervous system issues.
