I volunteer at a no-kill shelter. This means we occasionally have long-term residents. One big black cat named Tallulah has been with us for almost two years. When I went in earlier this week a young family was looking for a cat to be a companion to their 7-year old cat. The kids were fascinated by the kittens, of course, but they absolutely l-o-o-o-o-v-e-d Tallulah. The little girl held her for about 15 minutes and didn't even want to let go long enough to put her in the carrier. Tallulah has found her forever home!

Congratulations!!! I'm so glad she found the right family, even if it has taken 2 long years. Such a great story with a very happy ending!!
