Hello everyone

Today's question is,

What do you do to relax when you are stressed or sad or just not feeling too great? Do you have anything that instantly makes you feel better?

For me it's buying myself a nail polish I just love that they are all pretty cheap, even the expensive brands, and I love the different colors, etc...

I usually do something. Whether it's going out for a walk, cleaning the house, or puttering around in the kitchen baking cookies or breads, it helps to clear things in my mind. DH has often said that I make some of my best breads when I'm stressed out.....there's something that is very relaxing to me about kneading dough.

Bubble baths always make me feel better and relax, but if I am sad or upset, I'll usually go up into the foster rooms and spend time with the foster kitties. Knowing I am helping them always makes me feel better.

Same here, just spending some quiet time with my cats or my rescues brings me peace and quickly grounds me

Yesterday was my weekly day of stress: grocery shopping *SHUDDER*. Today is my destressing day, and it will involve sitting with the cats, some TV watching and some horse petting later on.

ut0pia - you destress the way I get all stressed out!!!LOL

Listening to music usually helps me de-stress.
