Fromm, Wysong, Natures Variety, Solid Gold DRY food

I have:
16 yr old male
6 yr old female (overweight)
1 yr old male

We used to feed Nutro Naturals about 4 years ago but stopped when the canned food scare occurred. Then we did Royal Canin which is ok, but for the $ it isn't so great. Everyone like the Purina One Natural but then it switched to Purina One Beyond and this is giving them smelly poop and a lot more barfing.

I have tried other natural and/or grain free options but with little success. TOW was only a hit with the overweight girl. Wellness was tolerated but not really liked after a few weeks. Natural Balance gave the cats gas-peas and my cats least to cat gas!

I have access to any foods at Petco and I have a feed store that carries most of the smaller lines. Any suggestions from those I listed or others?

I feed Nature's Variety wet and my cat loves it. I think their foods are good. Wysong is hit snd miss, you have to read the ingredients. Some of their foods have good ingredients while others have questionable ones. I like that wysong provides rx foods that have natural ingredients in them. I don:t have any experience with solid gold but from what I've read, I'm not a fan of their ingredients nor.their marketing. I do like fromm. I've fed their canned foods and treats and have had success with them.

I really like Fromm. I rotate my cats wet food regularly and they get a very small amount of dry too. Fromm foods are excellent IMO. I also love Instinct wet foods. Have never tried Solid Gold for my cats, but have heard nothing negative about their line. I am currently switching my cats to Innova EVO from Wellness Core. I love Wellness Core, but time for rotation. I will go back to Core again down the road. It is sooooooooooo confusing with all the choices available for our cats. At least we have some real quality products to choose from. Good luck

I feed Nuts Solid Gold Indigo Moon. I'm going to be switching him to Taste of the Wild, but that is only because I want to be able to get both the cat and dog food at the same place and not have to go to 2 different places.

I like it Nuts is healthy and happy and is at a good weight, 12 lbs, for his size, he's not fat.

Thanks for the info. I was unsure about the Wysong, one of their line seemed great but other had lots of carb sources.

Natures variety seems great on paper, I will have to see if the cats eat it
