A couple members here at TCS recommended using this, after I asked if there was anything else that could help aid my FIP cats' immune system besides L-Lysine. I looked it up on Amazon, and found that there were quite a few different kinds of the stuff. Is this the one I should get?

As a human, my family has been using Transfer Factor for over 10 years. It is an amazing product. I have an indoor cat with Feline herpes. He gets respiratory flare ups a couple times a year usually with a change in seasons. We use the L-lysine pump, Enisyl and also I use a product called Immugen by Thorne Veterinary. I have also used Colloidal silver when he has a flare up both internally (in his wet food) and I also dilute it for a soothing eye wash.

I used the TF classic in capsule form on my cats, not the special animal one. It does not really matter which you use - you cannot OD on it, and hte human one is much cheaper. I broke open a capsule daily and sprinkled it on the food.

The "Advanced" is the one specifically  for Felines, correct?  I, personally, would probably go with that one, but they have toll free number to call (unless you google an independent seller, I think), so why not call them and talk to a representative

That being said, I did find this thread which discusses Transfer Factor Plus on cats exposed to FIP.:   http://www.thecatsite.com/t/185996/transfer-factor-against-fip

So.....I think you would be ok to use either, however IF your cats actually HAVE FIP, I don't want you to get your hopes up.  As far as I know, there is no treatment.  BUT, also as far as I know, there is no actual way to completely diagnose it, other than just go by symptoms, so I guess  there is always hope until there isn't.
