Good morning folks.....

It's the end of April, techinically springtime on this side of the planet,

What is the weather where you are? If you could list general location that would be great too.

My heart goes out to the people in Alabama.

We're in central Pennsylvania in the US. Pretty much right in the center of the state. Rain, rain, and more rain.
Tornado watches, flash flood watches, the whole bit. DH and I spent last evening watching the western sky.

Here is Eastern Canada it's nothing but rain, and it's been that way all week. Looks like it'll be that way for the next few days too.

As far west in the state of Illinois as you can get: windy, windy, windy! Cool--the temp this morning was 49*--chance of rain all weekend. Of course, this is our annual Dogwood Weekend, so rain is a sure bet.

mid to upper 90s during the day, 60s at night, clear to partly cloudy and very windy this time of year.
I'm in the Mojave desert, tri-state area.

I'm in East Tennessee. It was pretty hairy last night - we had all of the tornadoes and hail storms moving through after they left Alabama. I was pretty lucky where I live. We had 5-6 major storm cells roll by, but they all went north or south of us, and we only caught the edges. We got about 90 seconds of hail and a lot of rain, but no major damage and the power didn't go out. The people to the south of Knoxville got pounded by tornadoes and baseball or larger sized hail, and that's where a lot of the fatalities in our state were.

Today has been a little cooler because the cold front moved through. It's sunny and about 70 degrees. I've been sleeping under just a sheet and running the fan at night for the last week or so. Tonight, I'll have to use a blanket, and maybe close the windows.

Cordova (Memphis), TN - (West Tennessee) The weather has been horrible lately. Mon-Wed, we had 3 straight days of severe weather (storms, flooding, tornadoes, straight-line winds, hail etc). Today we thankfully have had a bit of a break though and it has been nice and sunny. More severe weather is likely this weekend though, so I'm definitely keeping an eye out. It has been a very, very stormy spring (Every week for the past month at least we have had storms and tornado warnings). I'm glad to say that my friends/family/ and I have been safe thankfully, but my heart goes out to those who have not been soo fortunate in these recent storms (For those of you who would like to help, definitely research and find a reputable organization to pitch in and donate or volunteer with. I think the Red Cross and several other reputable organizations are trying to help those who have been devastated by the tornadoes and floods. Some of those poor people have lost everything).

Far SW Indiana along the Ohio River and sunnier than the past few days and cooler. We've also been in that storm pattern and have had severe storm/tornado warnings the past 10 days. Temps are a little cooler, in the upper 60sF.

All the rain has the nearby counties declaring states of disaster and sand bags are being filled by the truckload as the water from the Ohio, Wabash, and other rivers back up into creeks and smaller tributaries. Roads galore are closed and sometimes "you can't get there from here".
