So I've experimented with my new cats a bit. They are 4 years and I've had them a week and a half now. They previously free fed on meow mix dry and a tiny can of grocery store sliced beef split between them once daily as a snack.
When I got them, they wouldn't eat so I just took a chance and switched them over. Luckily, no diarrhea.
I found they didn't like Wellness much but LOVE Blue Buffalo. As of right now, they free eat a 50/50 mix of dry wellness (to get rid of it) and blue buffalo. I would like to stop the free eating BUT.... They only nibble at a time (wet too). And the boy is an eater and be girl is not. If I limit them, he may eat all her food. What can I do about that?
The other thing I noticed. They share a can of wet food. I'll probably up that as time goes on. But they don't seem to like chicken wet food and they barely eat it. But they love the fish and tuna. Is it okay if that's all they will eat?
