It's lovely and sunny here again so i'm going to do some more washing this afternoon. British Gas are coming to do a yearly service this afternoon on my heating system but they shouldn't be too long

Last day at work tomorrow before another long weekend!!

Morning!

It's coolish, but very, very sticky outside. Didn't even bother to walk outside this morning....got up at 5:00 and hit the treadmill for 3.5 miles. Grabbed a shower and here I am, in my little office. I love my treadmill.
Hate the elliptical, but I just love that treadmill. I had left my iPod at work yesterday, so I thought the treadmill would seem longer. But I watched the dawn as I was walking. And it was very pretty. There was a bunny outside the basement window....he was having fresh coneflower leaves for breakfast!

Whenever I hit the treadmill in the morning, I mess with Mollipop's schedule. She's used to havng breakfast, a quick bathe, and then she scritches on the bedroom to come back to bed. I open the door, she strolls in and hops in bed with me until I get up to get ready for work at 6:15. But when I'm on the treadmill in the basement, it messes with her routine. DH came downstairs to kiss me good-bye and he told me that Molli had been scritching on the basement door. We won't let the cats in the basement yet (the renovations aren't finished and that's just an accident waiting to happen), so I had to ignore her. She was not amused. When I finished, I opened the basement door to come back upstairs and she all but leaped into my arms, meowing at me the whole time. She was not a happy camper, that's for sure.

We're going to DH's parents for dinner tonight. His mom has a couple of recipes she's been wanting to try, but she's like me....she uses her family and friends as guinea pigs!
It's OK; whatever that woman cooks up is bound to be delicious.

Have a good Wednesday!

Morning all!

I go to work an hour earlier today so I have to be brief! We received 1 1/2 " rain yesterday for a total of 6" for the month. And more today and tomorrow-ground is saturated, standing water everywhere (not my yard though as our soil is very sandy).
I should take pics of the creek by me as its pretty high.

Wrote my next garden column last night over twice as long as advised-oops!

Some cat brought another vole into the garage yesterday so they are now playing hide and seek with it.

Not much else-oh went to Goodwill yesterday to get a pair of sweatpants I can where outside gardening and picked up a few tops-one was Ann Taylor with the tags still on it!

Anyhow thats all. Have a good day

I have always said that I need my own island and then can just enjoy life with as many cats as I can have
Hope your day brightens up Kailie

Today is rainy, but I am feeling pretty darn good compared to the last few days. I will definitely have my workout today. Have a few dog walks to do and then a run to Petsmart for some kitty supplies.

Hope you all have a wonderful day!!!

Hi, I know I haven't been around as much as I used to be. Sorry that I don't answer a lot of posts but this is baseball season and I am on my baseball forum quite often. I was recently invited to a private baseball forum, it has only about 30 people so far, they want to keep it small. I love going there since I can post pics and jokes etc. Now I go to both baseball forums and love it.

I do come here to get my cat people fix, I haven't forgot you

Morning.. nice day here today, in the 70s, going up to the 80s I think this afternoon.

Today is my 4th Anniversary of moving to California! April 27, 2007 was the day I arrived after a 5 day road trip from Pennsylvania. It seems like a lifetime ago! I may take a look at my accounting homework that we're going over in class tonight, and if it doesn't look too hard, I might skip class and celebrate instead. Not sure yet though..

Well I hope everyone has a good day, be warm, be happy, and be well!

I started spring cleaning today....not fun!

I don't understand how we can accumilate so much junk in such a short period of time.

It's been snowing and freezing rain here all day so we're all stuck inside and I'm going slightly crazy.
