Oh, we officially adopted him. The only other choice was euthanasia at the shelter.

Flambe is a flame point...which should explain the name, a little.

The flame point Himalayan we had at the shelter had escaped from home, and his owner came in and picked him up the next day.

He looks like a red tabby point (red lynx point in US?).
