That those dumped off at the local dollar store a couple weeks ago:

I'm gonna have a real hard time giving them up.

Simply adorable! I have a weakness for orange tabbies; they are just too cute!! Glad you're taking care of them.

You forgot the cuteness warning!!! They're adorable - all ears, fluff and eyes.

It is prob something Mother Nature is doing, making kittens sweet as sweetiepie! Thus easier to find a home.

It is almost like in the human world: they newborn human infant does almost always looks like the father. Changing into moms look alike occurs later on.

Good luck!

It's gonna be real darn hard giving them up - that's for sure! There's one that I'm becoming extremely attached to: he's the most curious one and is always getting into mischief - a regular little demon-child, but as sweet as can be! He's figured out how to get out of the tub where I've been keeping them separated from my own furkids: this morning when I went to feed them, there was shredded toilet paper all over the floor. He'll follow me around and try crawling up my leg, and looks at me with those big eyes screaming, "Mama! Mama! Pick me up!" How are you supposed to ignore THAT?!

How can you NOT get attached to them when you're their surrogate meowmy and they think that YOUR their momma?

I probably should have cleaned up their little faces before taking the pic. I took it right after they ate, and I noticed they have a little food slopped on those adorable faces: they're just starting to eat canned food, which I mix with the kitten formula. They haven't exactly learned tables manners just yet.

And their eyes are so blue! They seem blue-er than regular "baby blue" eyes; I wonder if they'll be blue-eyed when they grow up. Red tabbies with blue eyes are sooooo gorgeous.

AWWWWWWWW!

Good for you for taking care of these babies.. And good luck letting them go to new forever homes, if that's what you ultimately decide to do...

You just can't, and it's those eyes that make it hard for us to understand how someone could be so cold to just dump them outside

If you lived closer i'd have caved in and reserved one!

I wish you did live closer, Rosie. I know they'd have a good home with you.

If anyone else is interested...

I didn't know you didn't clean those precious faces....I just figured they had freckles!!

They are just too adorable. That's why I could never foster...I could never give any of them away.

Just yesterday I told hubby that we should volunteer at a shelter or something, and he said there was no way he could ever do that, because he'd have to bring them all home.

Rosie would love one too!. When Sophie and Jack were both kittens she took on a mothering role by grooming them daily, and she still does with Jack now

Winchester did that with Ricochet, Jinxy, Cassidy, & Chiquita after Salem gave birth to them and they were old enough to let out of the "maternity room". In fact, he still grooms them: he's like their surrogate papa cat - even after all this time. Salem won't have anything to do with them anymore -even though she's the momma. But Winchester still loves on them and grooms them: they're always looking for him when they want some lovin'. He'll even let Chiquita "knead bread" on him: how he can sit there and let her dig her claws into him like she does is beyond me: Ouch! It the sweetest thing I've ever seen!
