Morning folks!

It is going to be sunny and 17 degrees today!!!

We had an amazing weekend, lots of exercise, family visiting, great weather and we looked at some houses too!

Off to work in a bit. DH is off today, so he gets to sleep in

Morning,

I woke up about an hour earlier than normal this morning. I kept waking up during the night, and when I finally woke up and saw it was 6 AM, I decided that was enough. I feel pretty good, though. I'm going to take my time and sip on my coffee, then head out and get an early start at work. School is out, so the commute should be a little quicker, assuming they remembered to turn off the school zone lights.

It's going to be a beautiful day with temps in the low 80's. I might try to go to the gym at lunchtime instead of after work so that I can get out and enjoy the day some. I have to work on a couple of papers today and make a (hopefully) quick measurement in the lab. I'd like to get the papers completely knocked out this week so that they're not hanging over me any longer.

Well my boys are home with me today as there is no school....YAY I love having them home

Oliver now has free run of the house and he is having a blast going from person to person

I admit, I'm jealous....I want him all to myself

Gotta get this house cleaned up today, the kids and dogs have been draggin in sooo much mud...OMG!! I got a dinner theatre practice tonight and that's about it...I don't have to work tonight, WOOT WOOT!

Morning all!

Working today and then after work we'll be going to Dana's Grandmother's for dinner. After that we have the couple who are adopting Persi's kitten, Hermes, coming to visit with him. They are so great, and have been coming every week to see how he is growing and progressing.

Later tonight we'll watch the newest Game of Thrones!

Morning!

The sun is trying to come out, but we're in the line of showers and t-storms pretty much all week again. Into the upper 60s and 70s, though, this week! I'll take it! Close to 80 tomorrow!

We actually had the windows open in the house yesterday, for the first time this year.

Yesterday while our ham was roasting in the oven, I had great northern flat beans simmering on the stove for ham and bean soup. Ended up with five nice quarts of soup that we put into the freezer. I love ham and bean soup. And we have enough ham leftover that we can throw a couple of slices onto the grill later on this week.

I woke up way too early today, it was actually so hot that I couldn't sleep. The sun shines in my bedroom during the morning and sets in the living room side of the house. It's only +10 C outside but sunny, so maybe it was my 'sun blocking' curtain which made the room seem like a sauna.. it's black and keeps the light out of the room but seems to absorb all of the heat and act as a radiator.

I have million little things to do, and now that I have time I don't have any motivation. Great.

Met some old friends during the weekend, I think it was a year ago that I last saw them so it was nice to catch up.

Morning all.

We are having two nice days in a row!! Have a big load of sheets in the wash so I can hang them to dry outside.

A bit stiff and sore from doing several hours of gardening yesterday. That was expected though. I hope to do a bit more today after work as rain is predicted until Friday.

We cooked over the fire for dinner last night and have a bit of leftovers-no cooking for a few days.

I have another article to write for the local newspapers garden blog-on container gardens so I better get working on that this week plus tomatoes and peppers to transplant to bigger containers.

So much to do !!

Morning cat lovers

. Very out of it today. Long trip last week and traveling home yesterday. Bad night too on top of travel. Cloudy and cold too with no sun, so that makes me feel lousy too. SORRY, I am complaining this morning.......

BUT my kitties always make me smile and happy

and bring sunshine inside

Lots of laundry today, cleaning, and grocery shopping to get done. I should get started but want to post first, of course

Good afternoon.. Sunny and 60s here, though should be getting warmer in the 70s and maybe 80s mid-week. I hope so!

Been a busy morning job searching and whatnot, and soon I have to go run to the vet to pick up Dot's meds.. and get a few things at Target. I may do some homework first though. Class tonight after Spring Break last week, I hope we get our test scores back... I'm nervous. We had a test before break, and it was while BF's parents were visiting, so I had a bit of a hard time studying. Oh well, I did my best, so I'll just hope that mybest was an A.

It's a public holiday here in the UK so no work again today

Back tomorrow, but only for 3 days as it a public holiday for the Royal wedding on friday
