If you are wondering why Magilla is no longer in my siggy, it is because she now has a new meowmy, my sister

. My sister lost her cat, Howie, last summer. He was eighteen years old. She has one other cat, Tully, who is seven. Sis came to visit me last month and fell totally in love with Magilla. Princess Perla has never accepted Magilla (whom i trapped as a feral kitten back in December) and was constantly bullying her. I think part of the problem was that Magilla never told Perla to knock it off or would not stand up for herself and this just fueled Perla's confidence in going after her even more. Magi was having to spend most of her time back in her safe room as I could not let her have the run of the house when I was not there to supervise the girls. I also need that room for fosters and to be able to bring in some of my other ferals if they need medical. So I knew I had to do something about finding Magilla a new family and then along came my sister. The transition has gone beautifully and Tully accepted Magilla immediately. My sister now has the lap cat she has always wanted as neither Tully or Howie are lap cats. I will miss her terribly, but she is happier now and deserves to live in peace. Especially after the hard start in life she has had. I have been very blessed in that all three kittens I trapped have wonderful loving furrever homes now.
So, now on to the next rescue/foster kitties who will need me. And there are always more. ...........

this morning missing Magilla and when I look at
Perla I get so mad about the situation. But Perla is my little
and she loves her meowmy very much. She is very particular about who she likes, people and animals alike. Typical little princess.
and she is still part of my family

But I digress...
And you have the added reassurance in knowing that Magilla is in a good home, plus being able to get daily updates and visits whenever you can! It's all good!

:Magilla is taking great care of Tully, Magilla was always the caretaker of the boys in the house
. (except for Princess Perla, of course). Magi is now grooming Tully ALOT. Tully has not had her faced groomed in almost a year since Howie died. What fabulous news this was to my ears today.

I'll bet knowing that Magilla is so much happier now makes the transition a lot more bearable!
