New pregnant foster, Portia

Meet Portia, the newest pregnant foster! As you can see, she needs some TLC. Her coat is thin and scraggly, and she has touch of the upper resp. but she'll get the best of care here. We're pumping her full of kitten food and lysine. She is a sweetheart, loves attention and treats. I can't wait to meet her babies, and trust me, they're coming soon. She's all belly, and would be skin and bones if not pregnant. Send those vibes!

On another note, fosters Botwin & Quentin went to their forever homes yesterday and Skye is being adopted on Tuesday!!

You know, it never ceases to amaze me that no matter what a kitty has gone through, they are always SO loving and thankful to be here... Oh how I love fostering... Kitties are just full of love and forgiveness.

She's adorable. She rather looks like just a kitten herself, though. I'd guess she's pretty young, isn't she?

WOW she does look young, but she is beautiful

She looks a little ragged but I know she will be top notch soon now that she's in your care! Can't wait to see her babies

I agree hun, I don't think she's very old at all poor thing... I seriously think once she has the kittens, there won't be anything left of her! She's quite uncomfortable now too, doing a lot of licking and fidgeting, so I really don't think we have long to go before babies arrive!

Hopefully she won't have them in the litter box like Persephone did!

Another Portia! And what a cutie-pie! Mine has that same 'wild fur' thing going... her mane just sticks out all over the place... and she won't let me at the mats under it...

Luckily she doesn't have mats, just lots of thin spots, especially around her neck. The fur on and under her belly is a lot thicker, and very wavy! It's adorable!

We're still waiting on her babies, but I was watching them move around in there last night. The longer they're in there, the better so that we can get mama Portia nice and healthy.

No real background hun, that we know of anyway. Surrendered to the shelter as a stray.

Well she doesn't seem to be in any hurry to have them, even though she IS huge, but that's ok because she is getting healthier everyday. She's no longer snuffly and her coat is much shinier already. I love to feel the babies move around in her belly, so precious...

She is so very sweet looking. And I can tell how skinny she is, and petite too. I love the white spot on her chest and her lips look so cute too as she is looking up at you. Lovely little girl

Thanks guys! Here's some new pics of her just taken. As you can see she is HUGE! She's been here 1 week today. She's a real character, but really only a kitten herself. She's so playful... As you can see in some of the pics, the cat nip pillow is her favorite toy.
