Hi -

I think this is a common problem but it meant for a sleepless night last night. Darci went in for dental. She is perfectly fine but Finny is acting like she is demon and he is the demon hunter. He is very aggressive towards her. He has 3 pounds on her so he can do some damage if he gets hold of her she is scared to death.

How long is this going to last. I rubbed them both with dryer sheets to give them the same scent but I can't even get her out from under the bed to see if it works. I am keeping them in separate but that is hard because they are both miserable about nit being able to roam.

How long will this go on? Anyone have any experience with this? I am going crazy family is coming tomorrow for Easter and I have so much to do.

Thanks!

Erin

HOpefully as soon as the Vet smell wears off, they will be buds again, which usually happens in my house in just a couple of days, and until then Darko growls and hisses at whoever it is who smells "different" and no one else even cares.

In some instances, complete reintroductions are necessary, but I don't think that is common.

I've not heard of rubbing them with dryer sheets, but using pure vanilla is definitely something I have heard of, but never used, myself. I think it's put under their chins and at the base of their tails.

Good luck with your big dinner tomorrow, and hopefully things will have "fixed" themselves by then!

Thanks MrsGreen, I feel so sorry for my little girl and I think my friends and boyfriend think I am being silly so I am kind of alone in this so I appreciate the reply. I thought the hard part was over but this is much harder than the rest.

I wouldn't be putting chemicals on them from the dryer sheets. Use the pure vanilla extract. Dab them several times a day to get rid of the stress pheremones.
