Cell phone defunct - help meeeee!

I have the most awesome picture of one of my cats on my phone and want to send it to my e-mail on the computer. AT&T Said I could do this through text messaging. I did the text, attached the photo, but it would not send.

Pleeeeeeeeeeeeeease, someone help meeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee.

I'm old and not too smart anymore, but always willing to learn. I've GOT to have this picture on my computer!

I'll show it here once I get it on the puter! Pleeeeeeeeeease? Help a poor brain-defunct girl in a kitty-cricis?

Thank you for anything you can offer . . .

Do you have a USB cable to hook your phone up to your computer? That's usually how I take them off of my phone.

I looked and looked for one... but no. Waaaaaaaaa, but I spent the *entire* day on the phone with 3 different people who had to look it up themselves and there's a way you can do it just from you phone.

The quality on the phone isn't as good as it looked to be, but it will be the first picture on my signature once I get it up. I just finished it, so hopefully it's not too large as I added my beloved cat that passed as well (She'll be the one with wings).

Thanks so much for your help!!

Warmly,

Julie O'

Wait! Lots 'o Cats? How many do you have? I have 10! :-D

I have a SamSung "Rugby" (Not the Rugby II). It's the one the military use - you can throw it against the wall, step on it many times and it will not break.

I wanted a bigger phone; the smaller ones slip right through my fingers. This one is awesome. I may have been shaking during the picture I was so excited to finally get a picture of him doing this.

My Pentax Optio camera takes too long to shoot and I've been trying a long time to get this shot of Tiny.

(You must be back east, I woke up at 7:30 a.m. and your message was already here, but had to do some of my kitties' meds (6 special needs) before coffee break time.

You can get a new USB cable for the rugby for only about $3 on ebay, free shipping. I know it works, because I had a rugby before my current phone.

2 behind . . . HAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

You'd better get to your kill shelter and pick up a couple of special needs cats; I have 6 with special needs. (They will be the total loves of your life!)

Your cats are truly adorable to the max, by the way!!!

Maybe we can put our cats together for a play-and-claw date? lol

Oh, I ordered my cable from the exact spot you sent me to. YAY!!!!!! Thanks so very much!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Windows will usually recognize the photos in your phone as a removable hard drive, so it's easy to transfer the files off your phone to a file on your computer. You may have to turn off the Bluetooth function first, but you can probably find instructions all over the place.

did you figure it out? If not let me know I do it all the time from mine. Hopefully it will work for you also if you havent' got it to work yet.

Just remember, you have to have your email address in your phone contacts so when you want to send or forward the photo, you have the email of where you want to send it.

Hey, I like your name! In fact, it's a GREAT name! :-D

I actually went ahead and ordered a usb to usb, but might try your way (I'm THAT broke and don't have texting or anything on my phone, so adding a picture to a text and the text costs me $0.50. Sure would love to see his real colours and a little bit clearer like on the camera.

Thanks muchly for your help!!

Napswithcats, do you have the software that came with your phone? If not, you will need it to use the USB cable, but you can download it at the Samsung web site.
