Poem for my JB

A cat's morning

follow my lips unto your fingertips
a breath of air whispered in your hair
bristled tongue licked upon your nose
cherish the way i caress your skin
brushing against your calves
soft purr upon your throat as i rest
my head on your pillow watching you sleep
silently i wait licking myself clean for you
to look my best and handsome way
my hypnotic eyes sending you messages
to FEED ME seems to not work while you rest
so i wait patiently never leaving your side
till you wake to find me next to you
happy you squish me and kiss me till oblivion
as i purr contently showing off my soft fur to you
forgetting my hunger.
