This article has a pretty good summary of what was talked about in the news conference. We knew quite a bit of the information last night but since I wasn't sure what, if anything, would be held back by police for their investigation I didn't want to give any specifics. The only slight differences (that I noticed) is that the police cheif said that she was laying down flat in the back seat, not "reclining" and that "they found a history with alcohol" but he never said anything about "alcohol abuse." I think a good portion of the population could say they have "a history with alcohol" and not necessarily be anywhere near alcoholics. He also said that they "found no indication" of any history with drugs.

I'm sure I'm nit picking with the journalism, though. There isn't anything in there that is blatently false, just not quite word for word what he said.

Thank you for your continued support for us and the people who love Melissa. Earl and I know her only through his father's wife and how well she always talked about her, and a couple of times meeting her and Clint and their kids.

I can't believe she was in her van for 11 days in an apartment complex parking lot and not ONE person noticed?

Rest in peace Melissa...
