This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

New kitty sneezing

Congratulations on your new kitty!
Have you taken her to the vet yet? There are quite a few things that can cause sneezing in cats. Mine have allergies and upper respiratory infections. Sometimes the stress of coming to a new house makes underlying issues come to the foreground. So a vet check up is crucial to make sure what's on with the little one. One of my kitties was sneezing when he came and the next day when we took him to the vet he was diagnosed with URI.
Swheat Scoop is supposed to be good and if you (and/or your vet) feels that this may be allergies, that would be a good change to make. Either ways, a non-clay litter is often more responsible environmentally, though may be rough on the pocket.

Virtually all cats at a shelter catch an upper respiratory infection. It's so dependable, we can look at a cat's card and know when to expect it.
A vet can give you antibiotics to keep down the secondary infections, and he can check for anything you might have overlooked.
Thank you for adopting!

Every cat I've ever adopted has had a mild upper respiratory issue of some sort. The antibiotics from the vet will be the best bet. Congrats on the new kitty! I hope she feels better soon.

I was told that cats are only mildly social creatures, and as such easily spread illnesses to each other in the close quarters of a shelter. Not only are they close, but people are always touching one cat and then a second later touching the next.
Their immune systems also seem very greatly affected by stress, much more so than most creatures.
So combine a new territory that they don't know, don't have their scent on, and whatever they got at the shelter, and a URI is common. Plus those vaccinations don't help matters. Mine both got the sniffles and got antibiotics. But the vet trip itself and administering the antibiotics I think is stressful too, so if its not bad, you may just want to let them relax and call the vet and ask first. I used to run to the vet for even the slightest hint of something being amiss, but not only did it make my pocketbook $50 lighter each time, my cats really really hated the car rides. And the little bit of scratching if its mild may just be a seasonal thing. Around these parts at least, everything is in bloom now. A good vacuuming and fresh HEPA home filters might be all you need.

Why did they give her a metacam shot, especially at her age? What was the need if she only had an upper respiratory infection? (Metacam is on my NEVER give list unless the vet has spoken with me and we've tried other pain treatments. Search for Metacam here on this site and read all the negative comments about it.)
Keep us posted on how she's doing.

What antibiotics did they give her? Some are pretty notorious for causing runny poop. You can add a bit of plain canned pumpkin (not pumpkin pie filling) or plain yogurt to her wet food to help. Also, you can get forti flora from the vet to help replenish the good bacteria in her digestive system which will help her little poop, too.
Watch to be sure she's eating and drinking well. If she stops doing either of those things, you need to get her back to the vet quickly. You can get stinky wet food (Fancy Feast kitten or Wellness kitten usually are pretty stinky) and add a bit of water to it to make it the consistency of oatmeal and then warm it up in either a warm water bath or in the microwave for a few seconds to entice her to eat. The heat will enhance the aroma of the food and help her smell it better.
