I have an online subscription to the local paper. I haven't read it in weeks and weeks and have been meaning to call and cancel it.

Today I got a call from the paper asking me how I am enjoying my subscription. I told them that I'm glad he called because I've been meaning to call them! Then told the guy that I wanted to cancel my subscription.

Poor guy! He was probably trying to sell me on something, likely a hard copy of the paper along with the online subscription, for more money, and instead the call resulted in a cancellation.

I've done something similar. I bet you aren't the only one they've called who did that too.
