Ok now that we got good news on Finny's heart murmur tomorrow is Darci's day at the dentist. Geeze I can't even imagine being a mommy to human babies.

I am feeling so guilty as she has to fast for 12 hours tonight and then will be so scared in the car tomorrow. I swear I was even thinking of staying at a friends so they both don't wake me all night because their bellies are empty. I am way to spoiling. Any one ever dealt with that guilt before or am I being silly?

Please send good vibes for her tomorrow. I think a tooth pulled is pretty routine so trying not to get too concerned but love my sweet little girl and wish I could explain what was happening so she would understand.

They do have a way of making you feel guilty for "starving" them before a procedure, don't they? Lots of for Darci tomorrow.

Darci, I will be in the same position as you in a month. Ritz has gingivitus (at less than two years old) and has to have a dental cleaning. I can't feed her past 6 or 7 pm.
She is going to go bonkers. I will probably leave extra food for her when I am at work, maybe give her more calorically dense foods. Or, maybe just see if I can board her at the vets the night before. She has to have blood work before the procedure, in any event.
Yeah, I'm chicken.

Darci had blood work too so we are all set. I stopped feeding them at 8 and they are crying by their food dishes now. I just think it is better to have them both fast, I worked from home today so they got fed a lot today but they just don't get that they won;t eat all night.

I am sorry your kitty has gingivitis that is so young to be dealing with problems.

Thanks for checking in Finny is doing good back to old self pretty much as son as he came back from EKG.

Darci, came through like a champ when they got her under they realized she only needed a cleaning and not an extraction. She is doing well running, jumping and demanded the food when I got her the second I got home.

Now that all is done with them I realized with everything Finn and Darci's mom got hit with a bill $1,343.00 ouch! Well they are worth it. Hope all is going well with your babies.
