This blog, Door In Face, is looking for crazy animal stories (and tells a few of its own!) I figured TCS probably has some of the craziest animal stories out there! Even if you don't have a story to tell, the blog post is funny!

I found the text in this book spot on, but the illustrations aren't helpful at all. Good over all book

This mat caught my eye because of its size and texture, which traps fine litter rather well. It's large enough for jumbo litterboxes, which is also a plus. It's not quite as easy to clean as a...

This scoop was a freebie with some clumping litter I bought last year, and I like it so much that I've bought a second one. It's perfect for fine clumping litter, which it sifts very thoroughly....

Here is mine.
When I was a little girl, my Mom and some of my Aunts on both my Mom's side of the family and Dad's liked to go pick blueberries. I can't remember exactly where we went, but I know my Mom always referred to it as "Blueberry Hill". I was about 4 or 5 or so and I remember there were trees and bushes and lots of big rocks.
My idea of helping was to go to one pail and fill up my skirt with berries and go and dump them into another pail, etc. etc.
Eventually I stopped doing that because I saw this little dog and it seemed to love berries. So I would go to one of the pails and fill up my skirt and go back and sit with the dog in my lap feeding it berries.
I remember hearing one of my Aunt's calling for me, and the next thing I know I was scooped up and there were pails of berries flying everywhere and someone was yelling "RUN!" and everyone was running.
Seems that little dog wasn't a dog at all! It was a little black bear cub and apparently where baby bear is, Mama bear isn't far away!

Oh my GOSH, Linda! I thought you were going to say the dog threw up from all those berries! That's just the coolest thing, that you made friends with a bear cub. And lived to tell about it!

Ok, here is my bull moose story. First I'll set up the scene.
I was living in a city of about 10,000, in the northern part of my Province. Lots of woods and lakes.
The building I lived in was a high rise on a very large hill. When driving down the highway you could go straight past the hill into the city, or deviate right and go up and over it where there were other buildings, houses and a wall of forest on the right side. My building was on the left side of the road.
When you pulled into the parking lot, there was a section on the left that had a high chain link fence that separated that part of the parking lot from the grounds of the apartment building. That is the area where my parking spot was. My spot was at the end, or the first spot where the fence started. Next to me (my driver side) was an older car, probably 1970's or so because it was made out of heavy cast iron or steel whatever they made cars out of back then.
One day I had gone to Safeway and when I got home I pulled into my parking spot. I was driving a little 2 door, 2 seat convertible sports car at the time. Like the one in this link:
http://www.cargurus.com/Cars/Picture...tml#pi21459712
I got out of the car and was getting my grocery bags out of the back bench seat of the car when I heard a stomping/scraping sound along with snorting/grunting coming from my right. I had never heard anything like it before and I turned my head to look.
OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
There was a moose standing about 20 or 25 feet from where I was and it was stomping the ground with one front hoof, and moving its head up and down and snorting/grunting!!! It was the first time I had ever seen a moose outside of pictures, and the antlers on this guy were huge!!!
I left my groceries where they were and took off to cower between the front of the big old car next to me and the chain link fence. Not sure why, but I left my driver door open which acted as a barrier to the moose, sort of.
While I was cowering and too terrified to make a peep, that moose was pushing its way between my car and the old car next to me. In the process it literally moved my car into a 45 degree angle to what it was.
The next thing I hear is some guy yelling and the spray of water. Some guy in my building saw what was happening and came out and turned on the hose with the nozzle sprayer and was spraying the moose with it.
The moose took off across the street and back into the woods.
I was never so afraid in my entire life! Had my car door not been open to hinder the moose, I'm sure I would have been gored by those antlers!
I found out later that it was rutting season, and apparently moose are very aggressive during that time.
Never ever saw another moose up close and personal, and never ever want to!!

Black Bears and Moose, I love it!! It's like you guys have been hanging out in my back yard
About the baby black bear, there's a good chance mama was dead, that's why the baby bear came near you and the Mom didn't come around....it happenes alot here
Rutting season (Fall) is VERY dangerous!! I walk in the woods alot so I gotta be on the look out...In the woods it's not bad because all you gotta do is get behind a big enough tree or climb it if you can. Moose are so strong and STUPID....seriously they'll charge houses and everything, LOL. Apparently hormones make men stupid no matter what species they are
I love these stories so much
