Question of the Day Wed April 20

I am trying to post the question of the day the night before so I will remember to do it!

How often do you go to the doctor? Do you go for regular checkups or do you only go when you have to?

I do not like to go to the doctor even though my doctor is fabulous! I have to go fairly regularly to get my meds refilled. Normally, I only go when I am sick. DH is the same way. He has been sick the past few days and finally went today. He has bronchitis.

I went about 2 years ago and the Dr was pushing me to go to a gyn...not my thing:S and never went in my life why start now.

I go only when sick and need antibiotics(I let body fight it till it turns more serious and affects breathing(bronchitis) then go-yeah I know its not good).

I have never had bloodwork in my adult life. Tho no fear of needles so its ironic I am a dr avoider. More for the if its not killing me in the moment I don't care to know whats going on in my body.

I only ever go when i'm sick, because I hate feeling as if I have wasted the doctors time if all they do is tell me that I'm fine haha.

It's important, especially as we get older. I go to my family dr twice a year; she has been hassling me about having bloodwork done more often now, but I think bloodwork twice a year is enough. My GYN once a year....have to schedule that mammogram now, too. Eye doctor once a year. And dentist twice a year for cleanings. (I really, really hate the dentist!)
