Please pray for Simba

There is a kitty in desperate need for prayers now, his name is Simba. He is very sick, and his momma is without funds, having spent the last of her money on a vet visit last week, where he was given fluids, and she was told he had an upset stomach and would be "fine".

I have been trying to help her keep him going, via the internet, but he is failing, he needs to see another vet. She is new to her area, no friends or relatives. Please send him your strongest loving TCS vibes and prayers that she finds a vet with a heart, who will see Simba on trust that they will be paid when the ss check comes in.

When she called the vet she saw last week to ask them to work with her on financing she was told to take him to the pound and have him euthanized. I can't imagine the hurt that must have caused her.

Please pray for Simba.

OH am I upset and mad to hear that her vet told her that. It is bringing tears to my eyes actually. I feel so very sorry for this woman and especially her cat, Zimba. I pray that a vet will help her, tell her not to give and keep making those pleas to other vets. There has to be a kind and caring vet somewhere near her. :vi bes:

What a thoughtless vet. My prayers are with Simba.

Oh how absolutely heart breaking! Sending vibes for Simba and his Mom!

Something very similar happened to me years ago, with my first Cleopatra. She was vomiting and very lethargic. I brought her to the vet who did the same thing, gave her fluids, said it was a "flu" and that she would be fine. That was Friday and she was dying in my arms on Sunday.

Please keep us updated. Can she call a more compassionate vet to help?

What a cold-hearted, thoughtless vet. I hope she can find a more compassionate one.

Hang in there, little Simba!

Your prayers and vibes have come through for Simba. He is not out of the woods yet, but his momma was able to raise just enough money to cover a trip to the vet, a different vet, with $2.50 left over. So he still hasn't had the testing he needs, but at least he was given life sustaining sub q fluids, and an exam, and she has hope that this will hold him while she continues to try to raise the money for the tests he needs.

This new vet also gave her some info about a local private group that offers help to people in her circumstance. Sort of like IMOM I think, but local to her area.

Thank you all so much, I'll keep this thread up dated with any developments, and do keep little Simba in your prayers a while longer.

Thank you, thank you!
