Watermelon Anyone?

I cut up some watermelon for Mike and I this evening, when I'm done cutting it up I always give the rinds to the dogs so they can have some watermelon. Sadie (not pictured) actually eats it right - using her teeth to get the red part and leaving the green stuff. Fynn is a different story, he just tries to eat the entire thing, lol. In the picture, Sadie had finished and he went to her piece for some reason. Leiki came up to investigate

Our Rainbow Banshee loved cantaloupe. She could be napping back in bed and as soon as she heard me slicing through the loupe, she'd be in the kitchen meowing for her share. The first time I ate cantaloupe was quite a while after she died and I cried while eating. She dearly loved her loupe.

Ootay was my melon fiend. No watermelon or cantaloupe was safe from her. She'd just walk right up to me and steal it.

Sadie (the smart one, lol) eats it properly so she has no problems, but Fynn is dumb and eats the entire thing, so he gets mushy poop the first few times he has it a season. After that he's fine, lol. It's great for the summer because it's so water dense.
