I decided to stop getting Aquatic Frogs after they kept dying on me. Today my sister and I went to the Pet Store and against my better judgement went back to look at the fish. My sister got two Gold Fish and I got two Rainbow Sharks. They're a very pretty fish, black with red fins, and they're both cute little buggers. I named them Jack and Mack. I could use some vibes that they survive please.

They should have told you a specific problem.
Apparently the water's too acidic. They gave us something that's supposed to help with that.

I'm sorry your fish died.
I don't have much luck with fish either.

If your water is too acidic, its better to just get fish who like very acidic water than try to change it. Adding chemicals to change the pH can cause it to fluctuate- which will also kill the fish. There are also certain rocks, etc. that you can get which help raise the pH naturally and keep it stable for longer.
Do you know exactly what the acidity is?

And did you allow your tank to cycle (takes over a month usually) before adding any critters to it? That will make a HUGE difference.
