No, they don't make shows like they used to. The comedy now is mostly unfunny - nothing like Gilligan's Island, The Munsters, The Addams Family, The Beverly Hillbillies, etc. Humour now, seems to be derived from watching men get hit in the wedding tackle by hard objects, crude double entendre, and other non-funny devices. There is no more slapstick humour either, just jabs at people. It's all changed, and the last show I found even remotely funny was Married...With Children. The newer drama however, IS better and less predictable than the older stuff, although I have a fondness for the triteness of Perry Mason.

My fav from Welcome Back was "Fold it into three corners and stick it...". Usually said by Wendy Sperber's character.

I also remember a couple of Gabe Kaplan's monologues he'd give at the beginning or end of the show.

Who knew that that teen being rescued on an episode of Emergency! would become such a big star. (John Travolta)

LOVED all of those shows and still watch the reruns especially All in the Family. Loved Three's Company too. They don't make shows like that anymore.

I never really got into Welcome Back Kotter. I mean I've watched it, but I really didn't find anything funny about it. So most of the episodes would be first run if I were to tune in to watch today.

I agree, I loved those particular shows. I also loved Bewitched and I Dream of Jeanne.

Never much cared for Honeymooners. Found some of All in the Family funny, but I always hated the bigot part of Archie Bunker.

One of my most favourite comedies is "Three's Company" and "The Golden Girls".

I loved the Dick Van Dyke Show and the Bob Newhart Show (the old one) and of course, M*A*S*H.

Welcome Back Kotter was good too.
