Deer Standing Guard Over Goose Nest

I am not sure I put this story in the right forum. If not, would a mod please move it to where it should be. I posted a thread in the Crossing the Bridge Forum about what happened to our gander. Since then all five of the babies have been eaten by some wild animal. The mother was standing across the road this morning, alone, honking her head off. This is a great story of a female left alone to find a nest and hatch the babies, and the help she is getting from a deer.

Darn those wild animals eating those babies.....I know it's nature but, gee, it's so very sad.

I tried to get the video this am, but it is down. We had a windy night and it will prob be back up soon. Our local weatherman, Andy Parker, arranged for the live feed of the deer and goose. They are on the local news every night.

The deer comes and goes, so just keep trying to see him. The goose gets down every now and then and pecks the grass, but mainly she stays on her eggs.

There is a snow fence they put up around the area to keep people back, So many want to see this, but they don't want to scare the deer and goose away.
