I'm looking for pictures of cats kneading

Does your cat knead you while purring? Do you have the pictures to prove it?

Seriously, I realize it's a challenge to get a good picture of an action, especially one as subtle as this, and especially while you're being the dough. But, in case anyone happens to have a good shot, sharp, clear and above all, showing the action, and would like it featured on a future article, please let me know!

Either send it to me - anne@thecatsite.com or post it here. The article is due for publication in October, but I'm putting everything together now as I'll be on the road between May and October.

I think l have one of Jack kneading my sleeve?. I'll have a look

EDIT: I've found it but he's suckling on my sleeve and only kneading with one paw, so is that any good?

My cat Buddy lays on his back and kneads the air while you're petting him. He also kneads people, blankets, everything. I'll try to get a picture of him kneading =)

Well it certainly was difficult to get a shot while being kneaded! Here a few of Pushkin kneading my tummy, and one of Wiggies kneading his bed.

My Jennie makes Air Biscuits too! It's the sweetest thing, isn't it? Jennie, also like your Buddy, will knead anything anywhere. She practically kneads as she walks.

Tolly kneads on me only. Mazy doens't knead, though the past year or so (she's 7) has started curling her paws a bit while on my chest. Queen Eva, at almost 10 months, does not knead either, yet.

My friends cat is kneading insane, like a habit everyday in so many thing, including human tummy or shoulder...

Air Biscuits! That's brilliant! Buddy will even sit and knead the floor while waiting patiently for his dinner. Does Jennie do that too?

I don't think I made the deadline, but I figured I'd post my entries just for fun.

Buddy's kneading has been really subtle this week (I don't think he's feeling too good. He's fighting a URI...)





This one isn't kneading, but it's from the same photoshoot and it's just plain adorable.

Yes Jennie kneads as she sits and waits for supper too.

Those are beautiful pictures. I've been trying to get some video of Jennie making air biscuits but I haven't gotten anything good yet.
