Hi All,
This is my second post (my first was in Cat SOS about a week ago. Please forgive my slip in etiquette-it was an emergency) So I'm saying a proper hello in the newbie section!
I'm known as mommy to a Doll Faced Persian/Himalayan named Blondie. He just turned 9 on April 2nd. You can see his picture (he's had his 15 minutes of fame) here:

Blondie has a best friend named Arnold (pic coming soon, no 15 minutes of fame yet!) a soon to be 3 year old Deer-Type Chihuahua. They pretty much do everything together, especially rough-house play as boys often do. They provide constant hijinks and laughs to my hubby and I!
We will be going away this weekend to Vegas to help work out a rescue situation involving a house full of over ten kitties. My first post in SOS outlined the heartbreaking situation, and all of these kitties are Blondie's relatives so it cuts me to the bone. They all need to be rehomed, for their primary caretaker had a stroke that has left him permanently incapacitated. Please, pray with me that we find a home for each and every kitty.
Also, Blondie does have to stay behind of course. He will be taken care of by my mother in law who will visit everyday and bring along Arnold. I'm hoping that the loneliness isn't too much to bear. Even though I know he will be looked after, I so wish I could explain to him that we are not deserting him, and that we will be back soon!! I can only imagine what goes through their little heads when their parents have to leave like that!
Hope to chat with everyone somewhere along my journey here!
