Listening to the local all news radio statio to try to keep up with the severe flooding that is happening here. They give alerts to areas they expect the flooding to increase. They also update the ever growing list of closed highways and secondary roads.at least twice an hour. Pretty scary in many places - I am on slightly higher ground but with the amount of snow yet to melt, complacency is dangerous

Currently listening to Guniw Tools - 香風積 (kafuu seki).
I haven't listened to them in a few years so I had to dig those cds out recently and copy them.

If you want to expand your musicals horizonts, listen this!...
I recoment it!..

Currently listening to Пикник - Ветер лилипутов (Piknik - Veter liliputov - translates to Wind of the Liliputs). I love the guitar and keyboards on this, but it doesn't seem to be uploaded anywhere?

Though really they have a sound that's pretty distinctively theirs and a lot of their songs follow that, so just going to youtube and looking up Пикник or even Piknik will result in a lot of great songs.
Here is Пикник - Королевство кривых (Korolevstvo Krivykh - Kingdom of the Curves) from the same album, Королевство Кривых (Korolevstvo Krivykh - Kingdom of the Crooked).

Лицо (Litso - Face) is another very catchy song of theirs that is uploaded to youtube.

^I don't limit myself by language or just what I hear on the radio. There's just too much great music that I don't want to miss.
That said, there's a lot of stuff I can't stand.

Currently listening to Glenn Hughes - Orion from his Soul Mover album. He has so much amazing music and a voice that is just as good, if not better, as it was back in the 70s - he hasn't lost his range.
I've mentioned him several times on here in hopes that at least a few people might listen to his music and find out they like it.

Watching tv, atm. Some forensic show on the Science Channel with overly dramatic background music.

O/T: But has anyone else that watches shows on any of the Discovery channels noticed their blatant rip off of songs? The other day I heard part of a Thin Lizzy song. I've heard parts of Metallica's One used on Dirty Jobs, and on another forensic show my DH pointed out they were using parts of KMFDM's Misery. Years ago I heard NIN's Void in a nature program. You'd have to listen to quite a bit of music to catch some of these and I suggest anyone that watches Discovery shows listens for it from now on.

Dirty Jobs especially reuses bits of classic rock songs.
