Amissing kitty needs TCS vibes to find her way home!

Onyx, who is a beautiful short hair tortie, has been missing for days and her owners are so worried! She lives in a corner produce store downstairs from me and is very loved by everyone.
This morning I was walking to work and herd a cat meowing out front of their store but couldn't figure out exactly where it was coming from. I called her but she didn't come out of any obvious place, so I went in and asked the guy if they he knew where the kitty was ( this was a night shift cashier). He said no and came out but shrugged it off and walked back in. I had to get to work. Tonight after work I stopped in and found out she has been missing for days . The owner was very concerned after I told him I herd her meowing this morning.
She is still missing and we think she is stuck somewhere in the ceiling, she needs to find her way back

Oh goodness....if she is in the ceiling, I would rip it out to get to her. I hope they investigate that!

Put out something that carries the owners scents, a towel, shirt or something to direct her to that area.

I hope she is ok and comes home soon. But I would definately make sure they check the ceiling.

Oh that poor baby! I hope she can find her way back home!

And the sooner, the better. She needs water & food! That happened to our cat George when I was a kid. The poor thing crawled up into the walls of the attic, and my grandpa had to rip a hole in the wall to get him out.

This is just heartwrenching. Oh, I hope she comes out, or someone goes in there and gets her! That poor little girl.

My heart goes out to all who need Onyx home. My DD and I have just been through this with her Bilbo, who was found after 11 days shut in a shed. I just hope that everything is done to find her.

There are a lot of rescue organizations in New York, call one of the local ones and tell them this story. It makes good press for them to do something about this, if indeed she is in the ceiling. Also call the newspapers, lots of rescue stories in the press these days- they make good copy.

Praying that Oynx will find her way out the same way she went in. Come home girl.

Oh no, any update?

Absolutely hope they look into her being in the ceiling and dismantle it!!! She could be trapped and needs immediate rescuing. Poor Onyx, must be so scared and hungry
