WATER FOR ELEPHANTS when it comes out later this month? I love the book and have read it twice. I'm not a fan of Circuses but I find the story very intriguing. Don't care much
for Robert Pattinson(?) but Reese Witherspoon is one of my favorites. Anyhoo, I've already talked one of my friends into going with me and I'm looking forward to it. Anyone else going?

I've enjoyed the author's other books, but didn't read this one because I was afraid there might be too graphic a depiction of animal abuse in it...was there? I'm afraid of going to see the movie for the same reason - I'm still upset after seeing the Ruffian movie some years back and I knew what happened there. I cried so hard that my cats were upset.

I absolutely LOVED the book, but can't stand Robert Pattison... Plus 9 times out of 10 I am disappointed because the movie can't live up to the book. Still undecided I guess.

I wouldn't say that it was very graphic animal abuse in it. It's not all love for Rosie by all the characters but the abuse doesn't get too extreme.
