I know Jacky hasn't been around for a while, but I wanted to ask for TCS's magical vibes anyways - Today I saw the following post on the Cat Blogosphere - there are no more details, and I was not able to contact Jacky yet.... She is on Facebook, but I saw nothing there... Please pray and send some vibes for her little girl

My sphynx Wrinkles got very sick 2 weeks ago. She had hypothermia and a bad infection; the vet thinks she has liver damage. I don't know all the specifics, but I spoke to Jacky last night, and here is what I remember...
Wrinkles had a hypothermia a few weeks ago, became very ill, couldn't get up... The vet detected an infection - her WBC was very high. Her ALT was over 700 ALP was also very high. Bun is also high.
After a couple of weeks, ALT went down to 550 or so, but it is still very high. She is on clavamox for an unknown infection - it is the only antibiotic she can take as the others affect the liver.
Those "sleeves" you see on her paws are not part of her sweater... her paws became very bruised after the blood test, and that is why she had that on
The vet and Jacky are at a loss as they don't know what the infection is, and the vet thinks she has liver damage -
Please continue to send vibes for her... She is not even two years old

I remember when she arrived. She is very cute - I do hope she gets better soon and that the fears for her liver are unfounded.
