HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO MY DH TODAY!

We celebrated yesterday with his mom and grandma and I made homemade pecan pies!

Huge rainstorm here last night, just ended an hour ago or so. I am off to work in a bit.

Tonight maybe hit the gym, or maybe stay in in the rain and snuggle Trout

We're supposed to get rain here today, I CAN'T WAIT, love the rain

I am only babysitting one little boy today, hubby is in bed snoring away, he's off today since he worked Sunday, my boys are at school.
I have a dinner theatre practice tonight, I am part of the locak dinner theatre for our community center. WOOT WOOT!

That's about all.
4 MORE DAYS UNTIL OLIVER COMES HOME....I am soooooooo excited!!

Morning all!

We had some wild weather in Wisconsin yesterday evening! I yell to Neil we have to shuffle the vehicles around, baseball sized hail reported. We quickly do this. I hurried to carry all my over wintered annuals back in the house-crack my kneecap in the door jamb-icing now. We were just north enough of the weather system. Only 1/2" of wind and wind. Though the weather service is going to try to confirm tornado touchdowns about 20 minutes to the SE of my location.

My cold that started Friday night still persists. Not much sleep again due to cold/knee/weather and cats!

So just work today and a quick stop at the grocery store. Not overly ambitious!

Morning,

I am soooo tired... I didn't sleep well last night at all.

I'm working from the office today because I have to stop into the shelter after work. Where foster Baloo was adopted so quickly, I need another foster kitty to help socialize Quentin with other cats and they didn't know who to give me when I was there yesterday. Kind of felt like I was getting the run around truthfully.

I was given a crazy project to work on here at work, one that doesn't make sense at all and is too much brain power for a monday morning.

Morning!

Monday and it's my last vacation day for awhile. Maggie will be going home sometime this afternoon. I do have to go into work for a meeting late this afternoon, but I can handle that.

After my mtg, it's just grocery shopping and an exercise night. I think there's a Bones marathon on TV tonight, so that's what I'll be watching while I exercise.

Yep, sure do, although it is now called the Saint John SPCA Animal Rescue Limited. The ARL merged with the SPCA, so lots of good changes are happening.

I just called and spoke with the manager (who I love and who loves me back ) and she wants me to take any of the 11 on the floor who are already spayed/neutered, so I told her I'd take 2 after work. She's also giving me a container of L-Lysine, seeing as I have been buying the capsules at the drugstore for $11 a bottle.

Yesterday, was SOOOOOOOOOOO HOT and humid here in Chicago. It was 86 degrees. I do not like the hot weather...... 80 and below is just fine for me. I think it is more the humidity I dislike than the hot.

Today much better, in the sixties. Lots of errands to run today, WalMart, Petsmart and Jewel!!!!!!!!

Good afternoon.. BF's parents are still here visiting from England. One week down, 1 more to go. 2 weeks is a long time, but it's ok. Been a busy time though, but today I'm getting caught up on school work and all that good stuff. The weather is getting warmer and should be in the 80s in a few days. Yay!! We all got a bit too much sun at the Dirtnbags baseball game yesterday afternoon though. I forgot to put on sunblock so had my hoodie on, and my hands got burned.. My face moisturizer is laos SPF 15 but I have a red nose and cheeks anyway. Yuck. So I will be being extra vigilant about keeping out of the sun now. I usually am, Idon't know how I forgot yesterday. No good. Oh well. I'll live.

My accounting prof sent an email a bit ago saying attendance was optional tonight, it'd just be a free period to study for the exam on Wednesday or whatever. I'm not sure yet if I'll go or not. I might go just for a half hour or so. It might look good to show up when we don't *have* to be there.
