Jasper's "mom"

A few of you may know that we took in a 3rd cat a few months ago. Jasper came from my next-door neighbor's sister- they helped her move here and she found an apartment that didn't allow cats. And rather than her having to surrender the cat to animal control (which would have killed her b/c he's 10 and I don't know if he would have been re-adopted) we took him in.

She comes and visits him every so often. This is the 3rd time she's visited. And she said today even though it was really hard to give him up- she doesn't worry about him

So I guess I'm kind of glad we took him in. Even if he is doing this annoying "spraying" thing all over the house. SIGH. I did break down and buy a felaway diffuser that's currently plugged in downstairs. Don't know if it's working or not, but I'm at the point where I'll try ANYTHING.

And even though I was not really thrilled about adding a 3rd cat to the household. My 2 "girls" are seeming much better around him. Even "Sneaky the grump" is dealing with him. Holly and him touched noses yesterday for the first time I take that as a positive.

Wow - you sound really patient about that spraying thing. We have that problem, too, since we upset the applecart and brought in a feral a couple years ago.
