While the idea is cool, I think the joy would not last driving that thing. I just don't like the long front nose. Yeah, and that price, too....

To be honest, it's not my first choice for a car.
I drool over a Mustang, or one of those new Dodge Chargers that are out now.

ETA: Or maybe it's a Dodge Challenger I'm thinking of.

I drive a 2009 Mustang convertible
I ADORE that car, so if you're in the market for one I highly recommend it!! Smooth ride, it's not even insanely loud with the top down- you don't have to yell over the wind.

Nice!! I love the look of some of the older cars, and they've incorporated them nicely into this car.

Have you read their agreement when you order one?

It says that the new corvette donor car will be purchased by them, and that all stripped parts/elements become the property of them. What a sweet deal for them. They will recoup about 30% of the cost of the corvette by selling the parts. People would be better off buying their own, having it stripped and giving them the frame only. Then selling the parts themselves.

Long nose is really not a big deal, your brain quickly acclimates. I went from a super short nose FWD sport compact to a Vette, and it was weird at first like driving from the back seat, but now when driving a little car its opposite.

The only annoying part is when the front wheels are very far back compared to the lowest part of the nose on a low ground-clearance vehicle. But you can take most ramps at an angle.

Dodge Charger looks really cool, but its way too heavy IMO. Normally equipped, it and the Challenger are over 4000lbs IIRC... needs some slimfast, heh.

I love the neo-retro style that is in fashion now though.... lots of sweet V8s, all in time for $5 a gallon gas, lol!

Wow that doesn't even look real! Here in Iowa it's rare to even see a Ferrari. I visit my family in NC every few years and I can't believe all the Ferrari's and other super expensive cars! It would be neat to live in a place that had those kind of cars driving around!

That car (and the manufacturer) has been around for 5 years or so. Pretty impressive. Starts in the front with a '57 nose, goes to a '58 waist, and then the '59 tail. I'd take it. But I wouldn't pay for it!

Should have seen the cars at the car show we went to this weekend in Bossier City, LA. We drove over there in the hot rod, and about 10 of our club members (mainly from Texas and St. Louis) joined in the fun. Every thing from our Model T hot rods, up to about 1980. Lots of '55, '56, and '57 Chevys. A '58 Chevy. A '60 Chevy (I looked, but Bob Seger wasn't in the back seat). A gorgeous '59 Olds Rocket 88. A '41 Ford that probably cost $150,000 to build (pro build). A Cobra replica. A couple of '68 Camaros. Just a fantastic selection in about 135 cars. No admission charge for any spectators who wanted to see it. And I took the Army guys who volunteered to guard for us for a ride in my car.

a 1955 concept car by Lincoln to be exact and ugly as sin.
In profile it looked the same going forward or backwards George Barris did the world a favor by modifying it into the 66 Batmobile.

That was back in the days when many people still believed that there was a big difference between Lincolns and Fords!

Just to put a bit of a garnish on it, the name "Futura" was copyrighted and later used for one model of the Falcon, and, I think, a model of the Fairmont.
