Buddy!

Some of you have been telling me to upload pictures of my new kitty Buddy, but I kept forgetting my camera in the car!

Well, here they are!

(I took video too, and I might make a video of Buddy fetching when I have enough footage.)

The day I got him, while he was still in his cage at the shelter:


I had just met him and you could already see the love.

And I just took these today.



He's showing off his pretty jeweled collar.

Thanks everyone. I feel blessed for having such a wonderful cat. He's as sweet as he looks. He likes to lay between us when we're sleeping, and he's ok as long as one part of his body is touching each person. So for example, he'll lay pressed up against Sarah and he'll reach out and touch my arm.

He also likes to make sure each human gets equal attention. He will lap swap if we're on different couches, but he's happiest when we're sitting next to eachother so he can sprawl out across both laps. Yes, he's big enough.

I'll take some more pictures of him today now that it's light out. I just need to wait for him to come back downstairs.

I have a very soft spot in my heart for black and white kits. Buddy has beautiful markings, he looks like a real sweetie.

What a handsome boy! I love his markings. The pictures of him being such a lover even at the shelter are so sweet.

I went to the craft store today and they had a sale on yarn and ribbon. Buddy has new toys!

I was playing with my roommate's point-and-shoot camera and of course Buddy was my subject. The camera has a hand strap and Buddy decided it was his play toy. Perfect timing managed this accidental picture:
