Cute Kitty Spotting

We went shopping today for some recycled home appliances/such. It's a huge local outlet where they have everything you could think of if you're working on a home project (rows of doors, windows, furniture, cables..anything you might need). This place is like a huge warehouse with several buildings and it's always buzzing with people on the weekend. It's just this maze you could walk through for hours...
We picked out what we wanted ( a new door and window..total $40! ) and went to the cashier to pay. There was a store cat sitting by the cashier just kinda hanging out..all black adult male. When the line tapered down I approached him and let him sniff my fingers and after he decided I was decent then I pet him a bit. We were talking with the cashier for awhile and he jumped down to go wander (probably kitty paradise all those things to hide in and stuff).
We had to wait for someone to help us lift things as my boyfriend is handicapped and we were leading him to the door we wanted. He picked it up and said if we pulled our truck around he'd meet us at the other warehouse for the window and help load it. On the way back to the truck I noticed in one of the little hidden corners of this place a break room and guess who was hanging out by the coffee and vending machine? The kitty!! It's hard work being a cat

That sounds like "ReStore", the store that is run by Habitat for Humanity. I love looking in there. Haven't seen a store cat yet. In fact, it's been quite some time since I've seen a store cat anywhere...

Our vets office has two cats that hang out in the waiting room. They are siamese and very lovable and friendly.

My vet has a cut little tabby that hangs out in the office. She is usually curled up on the main desk.

The place where I get my cat food has two cats that hang out. An all while female and a male tabby. The girl often hides behind the cat food, so when I go to get some cans she pops out and harasses me for some lovin'. If you stop patting her before she is content, she will jump up and grab your hand. Good thing she has the cap on her claws.
The male is sort of lazy. He just hangs on the cat furniture and accepts any pats or scratches that come his way. Love the hard working cats.

AW a store monitor. My friend who runs a dog kennel, privately and it is small has two office cats. You can never fill out the paperwork because they are rubbing all over you!!!!

At the vet I used to take Whisky to, there is a cat named Singe. She's named that because she was set on fire the next block down from where my Mom lives about 6 years ago. This vet took her in and cleaned her all up with surgeries and such. Very sweet, mellow girl, but one side of her face is so gone that you can see her teeth and gums. I think her ear was gone too. They have a binder that shows her progression from when she was brought in to after she was all healed up.

They never did catch the people that did it.

Wow, sick, sick people! At least the vet was able to save the little darling.
