how to teach cat to hide claws when playing?

I don't want to trim his claws because he goes out a lot and has to have them for defense and hunting but he is forgetting to hide them when playing with me and even in my arms when he got angry or something he can scratch me. Once accidently in face. He jump with claws also on his tail so this justify him a little bit

Cats put out their claws to grab stuff, and not with the intention of hurting you, so I suggest you avoid rough playing so he does not get over excited. Also, if he does grab you, stop moving, be perfectly still until he loosens his hold on you. Or if possible, distract him with a toy. Then walk away.
