The services run from $10.00 a month to even free (but with ads on the coversheets).

On the other hand, since I don't have any non related references, maybe it would be a good thing.
What would be the best way to see if they got it? They don't have a business phone number yet. There is an email address on their website.Originally Posted by Catkiki
One thing about fax machines is even if you get a confirmation that it went through does not mean it actually went through. It could have come through garbled on the other end.
Sadly, I don't have any references at all, other than relatives. I'm trying to determine what I should do. I think it would look bad if I didn't have at least one reference. But I'm afraid that if I use a relative, they would know. I thought about listing a relative and then in the other references spaces I could give a brief explanation as to why I don't have any other references. It's because I haven't had time to form a relationship with anyone at all due to family illnesses and me helping out. If that's the excuse I use, I would word it better than that. I just don't know if I should do that. BTW, this is my first job despite being in my late 20's.Originally Posted by Naps With Cats
Ohhhh, you'll need non-related references; can you have a couple of teachers and maybe a counselor from school (or the principal) write you letters of reference? (If so, make a LOT of copies for future interviews). In my job when I used to work, we could not include family or friends as references at all.

If you have Windows 7 or XP and a scanning printer and a connection to a phone, you have a fax machine. If you have Vista, you would have to install a fax program.Originally Posted by Naps With Cats
