Leiki: The Amazing Jumping Cat

We were playing with Leiki with the laser pointer this evening. She seems to absolutely love jumping up the walls at it, so I decided to get it on video after she had gone really high a couple of times. She didn't jump quite as high as she had before, but she was getting tired (you can tell in the video because the first two jumps she lands awkwardly) but I managed to get one that was pretty high.

Since she doesn't jump as high as she was... she was jumping straight up the wall, about the height of the door.

This is not something that we do regularly with her - we just wanted to see how high she could actually jump.

Wow. Leiki is beautiful and quite the jumper.

We knew she was a jumper from her old owner. She would jump onto of his fridge, lol, but we didn't realize just how high she could jump!

Those are very agile and energetic jumps!
