Hello first time poster. I'd like to share a radical treatment for anyone with chronic night time vomiting / IBD / lymphoma in their cats. My cat was diagnosed with IBD after 4 months of constant night vomiting. The vet first thought it was a hairball issue after blood tests confirmed everything was normal. We tried cat lax and pepcid. That didn't work at all for a month. An x-ray confirmed he had enlarged stomach linings and possible lymphoma. I couldn't afford a biopsy / ultrasound / endoscopy so we treated for IBD and food allergies. He began a grainless diet and also prescribed prednisone and it stopped his vomiting. However, if he had lymphoma it would only delay his death. As I weaned him off the prednisone I experimented with curcumin 95% pure extract. Curcumin is a turmeric extract that is anti-inflammatory, and cancer fighting herb used in indian medicine for centuries. Extensive government studies have shown it to be an all inclusive cancer fighting drug in animal testing with high doses of 4 grams daily rendering harmless to the subject. Clinical studies are underway to use curcumin in all types of human cancers such as breast, pancreatic, and colon cancer. I am using 500 mg of curcumin extract daily on my 10 pound cat and it has totally change his mood and activity. The prednisone made him sleepy and less active as I wean him completely off it. Curcumin has made him more playful and active. He has completely reverted back to his normal playful self with no vomiting issues. He is on every other day prednisone currently and once I wean him completely off, I believe the curcumin can replace prednisone as a corticosteroid. It is a natural anti-inflammatory herb that could fight off your pet's pre-cancerous growth or lymphoma. I urge you to do more research on this wonderful herb extract that has given my cat a new life. If you can't afford the costly vet bills, and there are no other avenues, this is a possible treatment.
