FDA launches new website for recall info

Just an FYI -The FDA has updated their website to include searchable tabs and one of the new tabs is for Animal and Veterinary. The web page's "animal health" tab includes pet food recalls, product information, and direct links. They also noted in the article that the FDA has authority to order it's own recalls instead of waiting for the manufacturer.

The layout is nice for that. I suggest everyone bookmark the FDA's site, if not for pet food recalls then for human food and drug recalls. The stuff getting recalled for undeclared wheat spooks me - I was looking at some chips a while back that were on that list but never got them. I buy Fresh Express spinach fairly often, too...
