Good morning,

Todays question is a follow up to my "desk question"

Are you an organised and tidy person, or scatterbrained and not as tidy?

I am not organized. I prefer it when it's clean and organized around me, and i organize and clean every two days or so, but I have a hard time keeping it that way. I just have bad habits. Like, instead of throwing away things immediately, I set them down at random places until they start to bother me. So halfway through the day I have to pick up orange and banana peels from the kitchen counter and clean it. If I'm using something I won't put it back, so if I'm writing notes for class on my desk, the notebook will just lay there until I decide I need the space so I clean it up....and I could go on and on I'm that way about lots of things, so basically everything around me is always cluttered with things I've used within a day or two and never put back..

I'm kind of in between. I'm not organized, but I am not messy really either. I don't like clutter or a dirty home, but I'm not completely anal about it either.

It depends sometimes I've got to have everything nice and tidy, other times I just don't care

It's common knowledge that cleaning up after kids is like shoveling the driveway while it's snowing.

I try to be.....but it just doesn't work out sometimes. I am CONSTANTLY cleaning but sometimes I feel like I'm cleaning in circles.

With as many animals as I have, plus hubby and my 3 boys, not to mention the 5 kids I babysit (all under the age of 3 I might add) and me working nights sometimes stuff doesn't get done right away. There's always toys shoved under the couch or dirty clothes laying on bedroom floors but once everyone is grown up I'm sure I will miss the clutter and stepping on lego (ok maybe not).

Everything is clean, just not always organized, LOL

I am tidy and organized but scatterbrained (lately)
. Although the floor of my house is covered with cat toys, cat crunchy bags, cat tents, just cat stuff everywhere. If I have anyone over, it takes me a bit of time to clean it all up because if I left is all out, I would be labeled by that person as the crazy cat toy lady. I am obsessed with cat toys

Agreed with the above, I'm not really organized but I do know where things are... to a certain extent.

I believe I am very organized, I always know where everything is. There is a place for everything and I try to keep it that way. I could never live with an unorganized or flighty person, that would drive me nuts.

I'm a bit odd in that I can clutter a bit with a few items, there's paper work on my desk for example (oops, need to get that filled out for the heart hospital soon), but everything else is systematically organized to the point of being over organized. My cds are sorted by genre, alphabetically, then release date. (books, too) Even my crafts are sorted down - beads by type/size color and hue (cannot use them otherwise), fabric is even sorted specifically.

Unfortunately I can over focus on minute details of such things.

Then there's some things that I refuse to even touch: Like my DH's desk. His mess, his responsibility. I just have to selectively block it out to keep it from bothering me.

Eh, I'm kind of messy. I try really hard not to be, but it doesn't always work out.

Yesterday I got the kitchen and living room spotless, but now my bedroom is now a mess.
I just feel like I never stop cleaning, there's always something to do.

I didn't answer the desk question, but I don't have one LOL.

But I am totally organized and tidy.
Gary's a slob, and it is interesting. I put everything away, he has no idea where anything is.
I "never" lose my glasses or keys - he can NEVER find his (unless I got to them first and put them away LOL).

One of the first things I bought for my first apartment was a file drawer.
