Mosquito Repellent

Thread Starter
On our Balcony we are looking to use a Mosquito Repellent, but want something safe for the cats.

I read that citronella candles are not good for cats, the fumes are bad for them.

Any recommendations for a safe product to use?

Thanks,
Nick

I can't think of any, honestly. If your balcony isn't too large it should be possible to enclose it and then screen it in. That will provide an insect free space for you and your cat.

The other alternative is to keep your cat treated with a product like Revolution so that any mosquito bites have less risk of your cat contracting heartworms. Though that doesn't help much if, like me, you have a cat that cannot get bitten at all due to a mosquito bite allergy.
