Best of luck to you and Patch.
I've just caught up on all that's been going on with poor Patch, and my heart aches for both of you! Poor fella's been through so much, but he's obviously a real fighter!

Thank you everyone for all your Prayers and well wishes. He just got out of surgery and thank God he came through fine, his heart was fine. They were able to widen the opening. The only thing is the doctor said he is not 100% convinced that this surgery will take care of the problem. He said usually with a P/U operation if there is an overlap of skin it usually takes place a month or two after the original operation, not 3 years after, however, he did say that they filled his bladder with saline solution and when they gently squeezed his bladder there was a nice flow coming out. The next 24 to 48 hours will tell if it was a success or not. They will not put the catheter in at all, unless he is not urinating. And so it continues. I do appreciate your thoughtfulness through this whole thing.
